Dr. Kimberly Keck has been teaching music and directing choral ensembles in Higher Education for over twenty-five years. She spent a majority of her teaching career at Bryan College in Dayton, TN where she was the chair of the Worship and Performing Arts Department. While at Bryan, she directed the Chorale and Chamber Singers, taught Applied Voice, Vocal Pedagogy and Music Education courses. Under her direction, the choral ensembles had the opportunity to perform for audiences both in the United States and Europe. She has had the privilege of conducting Ralph Vaughn Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Haydn’s Lord Nelson’s Mass, and Handel’s Messiah among others. Additionally, Dr. Keck was the founder of the Bryan Opera Theatre where she served as the director for nine seasons. In 2022, Dr. Keck became the Artistic Director for the Chattanooga Girls Choir and an Adjunct Fellow at New College Franklin in Franklin, TN.

Kimberly earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Music Education from Boston University where she did extensive research in vocal pedagogy. She holds a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In 2021, she completed all three levels of certification from the Lovetri Institute in Somatic Voicework™.
