Josué Gelabert-Roncal started learning violin at the age of 5 in his native Madrid, Spain. He completed his elementary level at the conservatory in Spain and then moved to Miami, Florida at the age of 12. He continued studying violin at the Miami Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Andrés Trujillo. After graduating high school from the renowned New World School of the Arts, he decided to take his talent to Southern Adventist University in Tennessee, where he served as concertmaster under Laurie Minner. During his time as concertmaster he toured with the symphony orchestra in Argentina and Puerto Rico. Josué graduated with a Global Policy & Service major and French and Music Minors and decided to stay in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Josué has been working as Donor relations Coordinator for Child Impact International since January 2018. He visited sponsored schools in India and performed violin wherever he went. Back in Chattanooga, he regularly plays with the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera, Chattanooga Bach Choir, and Rouechée Chorale.
