Zac Schmidt is a passionate music educator and performer based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. As both a band and choral director, he loves helping students discover their unique musical voice—whether they’re singing in harmony or playing their first notes on an instrument.

A trumpet and cornet player at heart, Zac also plays soprano cornet with the Jericho Brass Band, a British-style brass ensemble that brings powerful and joyful music to the community. Zac is an active member of the International Trumpet Guild (ITG), the North American Brass Band Association (NABBA), and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME).

Whether working with beginners or more advanced students, Zac aims to make music fun, meaningful, and something students can carry with them for a lifetime.
