Holding an undergraduate degree in bassoon from Southern Adventist University, Sara Snider Schone is a versatile and accomplished musician whose work encompasses both vocal and instrumental performance. In demand as a mezzo-soprano soloist and bassoonist, Sara frequently performs with orchestral ensembles, chamber groups, and other musical organizations throughout the Chattanooga area and surrounding region. Her diverse musical background allows her to bring a unique perspective to both her performances and her teaching.

In addition to her performing and teaching career, Sara is deeply involved in the Chattanooga arts community. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Chattanooga Girls Choir and also serves as Artistic Director for Opera Tennessee. Sara also serves as Vice President of the Chattanooga Music Club, sits on the board of Chorus Angelorum, and is a member of the Chattanooga Wine Club.
